Springwood and Districts Basketball Association runs two domestic competitions per year. The competitions are as follows:

Summer competition is during public school terms 4 and 1. This commences at the beginning of October.
Winter competition is during public school terms 2 and 3. This commences in the month of April.

No games are played on public holidays or school holidays.

The competition caters for the following age groups:

At present the competition is held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
